The Opportunity

As the company transitions, we are seeking a Product Manager who will be responsible for all Marketing activities to achieve the proper products position in the market, in accordance and aligned within business policies, objectives and guidelines as well as departmental budget. This job is eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions.

 

The Responsibilities

  • Develops market segmentation where OCD lines of products are present and defines potential values that allow directing OCD’s resources and efforts effectively
  • Organizes client base by: Sales, Product turn over, region, Government/Private, Potential (current or future), Type (direct/channel), etc.
  • Supports, analyses and implements global strategies for OCD’s market and products plans and activities oriented to positioning the brand in Mexican market
  • Develops promotion strategies and plans and segmentation of its impact in sales and development of LOB
  • Conducts preliminary market and competition research, develops sales for mid and long term, estimates and investment models and develops the targets, tactical plan, and activity plans based on those data
  • Coordinates required market research so that medium and long-term market estimations and budget planning for the products in pipeline can be carried out.
  • Determines which opinion leaders will play key roles in new product processes, and develops relationships that facilitate the exchange information concerning market or scientific data
  • Maximizes the efficiency of relevant processes during the determination and presentation stages of products in pipeline by ensuring coordination among several internal and external organizations
  • Explores new business opportunities through performing analyses and evaluations of products in pipeline and products that will be included in licensing activities
  • Prepares information for inclusion in reports to executive management on products in pipeline and/or new business opportunities
  • Provides data support required for strategic and business planning
  • Actively supervises and participates on development of pipeline with Sales Team and supervises that the value proposition of each line of products is properly accomplished

The Individual

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Business, Marketing; MBA preferred
  • 4 years of experience in Dx markets
  • Focus in  Immuno-Hematology 
  • Experience supervising, coordinating, organizing individuals and planning resources and budgets
  • Expert level in Planner SW & GANT tool; Expert level in OFFICE Pack
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Bilingual English and Spanish
