The Opportunity

As the company continues to grow, we are seeking for a Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our team in Milan. 

The Responsibilities

  • Manages Tactical Marketing as intermediary between EMEA Strategic Marketing and Country Marketing.
  • Develops Marketing Plan for Italy.
  • Prepares “ad hoc” presentations to participate to meetings where Marketing is involved.
  • Allocates budget to marketing initiatives by splitting it by line of business and sales area, in conjunction with Marketing & Strategic Sales Manager and Business Director Italy.
  • Works in synergy with “Sales” and “Supply Chain” for the product forecast.
  • Collaborates with EMEA colleagues to develop the local market in order to prepare it for the launch of new products.
  • Manages events and congresses (identification of events, Scientific Societies and graphic providers management, trade shows organization and attendance,..).
  • Manages Marketing relationships with “Healthcare Compliance” Department.
  • Manages Marketing relationships with “General Service” Department in order to lead the operational activities of events/congresses.
  • Prepares information for inclusion in reports to executive management on products in pipeline and/or new business opportunities
  • The role is temporary - 1 year contract. 

The Individual

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Management, Marketing, Biomedical;
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken);
  • 4 years professional experience in a similar role.
  • Master represents a plus.
  • Expert level in MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently or dynamically in a team atmosphere.
  • Effective management of multitasking.
  • Good knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools: IBM Cognos (Sales Billing Cubes), Salesforce.com (CRM).
