The Opportunity

As the company continues to grow, we are seeking for a Product Marketing Specialist to join our Italian team. 

The Responsibilities

  • Supports, analyses and implements activities oriented to positioning the brand in the Italian market;
  • Conducts local market and competition researches, develops sales support for mid and long term, working in parallel with Sales;
  • Supports Laboratory Specialists on any complex Immunohematology issues with the customers;
  • Prepares and deliver Immunohematology update and training for Sales and Ortho Care people;
  • Explains and demonstrates the Ortho solutions to prospective customers and visits customers with Sales;
  • Monitors the competitor activity and develops an updated database as a source of learning and competitive advantage;
  • Coordinates and/or conduct tests and validation of new products at country level;
  • Participates in any company meetings for creating and managing all the local scientific initiatives (as ”In Vena di Sapere” Website, Third level consultancy..etc.) and collaborates with external consultants;
  • Provides data support required for strategic and business planning and manages local forecasting as defined with MSSM and as requested from the EMEA Marketing.
  • Prepares information for inclusion in reports to executive management on products in pipeline and/or new business opportunities for the IH LOB;
  • Prepare the local Market Plan for the IH LOB in collaboration with the MSSM;
  • Participates in scientific meetings, conferences and workshops related to Transfusion Medicine as defined with the MSSM;
  • Manage Scientific Congresses participation and organization in collaboration with MSSM;
  • Collaborates with Regulatory Affairs, Tender Office and Customer Service;
  • Explores new business opportunities through performing SWOT analyses and evaluations of products/solution for the local market that could be included in licensing activities or collaboration with third parts at county level;
  • Develops, at country level,  promotion strategies and plans to impact development of IH LOB and to help sales to growth;
  • Coordinates market research so that medium and long-term market estimations and budget planning for the products in pipeline can be carried out;
  • Maximizes the efficiency of each Marketing relevant process in collaboration with QA, ensuring coordination among internal and external organizations;
  • Actively supervises that the value proposition of IH LOB is properly accomplished by all the internal and field organization.

The Individual

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Business, Marketing
  • 4 years of experience in Dx markets
  • Focus in  Immunohematology 
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Expert level in OFFICE Pack
  • Market analysis. Attention to detail

  • Strategic with team work mindset. Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams
