The Opportunity

Internal Controls and Process Improvement Lead will be responsible for driving key strategic initiatives for the organization e.g.: setup and continuous update of the internal control environment for the entire EMEA region,

continuous improvement initiatives across the Account to Report, Procure to Pay and Invoice to Cash processes, as well as leading the transition of new countries and activities to the Prague Shared Services organization.

The Responsibilities

  • Act as Lead designing, maintaining and continuously improving internal control environment for both
     the EMEA Finance Shared Services and the EMEA Finance organization.
  • Support project management activities during finance transformation projects, including ERP system implementations, process on-boarding / redesign / improvement, and other special projects.
  • Support and continuously improve the Account to Report, Procure to Pay and Invoice to Cash processes.  Identify, propose and drive initiatives to deliver measurable improvements in cost, quality, control and cycle times.
  • Transition new activities / countries to the Prague Shared Services organization.
  • Lead other key strategic efforts at the request of senior management.
  • Required travel: 10-20%

The Individual

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related business field

 

Skills

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounting, Finance or Consulting
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes and internal controls required, any certification is a plus
  • Project management experience is required, any Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management
  • Proven track record of building and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
  • Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Individual must possess the ability to interact effectively in a dynamic, multicultural environment
  • Experience working in a global Shared Service Center is a plus
