The Opportunity

As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a Regional Marketing Director - LATAM to lead and coordinate critical processes related to business planning, marketing plans, market development, market research, new product launches and multi-channel marketing.



The Responsibilities

  • Assesses the Market Opportunity, barriers and all required analysis to develop a comprehensive Marketing Plan
  • Interacts with each of the GMS and local marketing Team to understand the needs and support the growth of the business aligned to the Corporate, Regional and Local Strategies
  • Manages a Team of Marketing Managers and Product Managers to executes the tactical annual marketing plan using the guidance of the strategic and marketing plans.  Actively participates in the implementation plans of each region, being accountable to grow the business above market average.   Quantifies and ensures the quality, timeliness, and cost-effective manner in which all marketing programs are implemented.  Develops and ensures adherence to the annual budget (Sales and Costs)
  • Partnering with the Business Fields, develops business cases directing her reports and local PMs to ensure the opportunity is well understood and captured in a realistic model to decide whether or not it is a worthwhile venture, then links the business case, with the Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to ensure alignment
  • Develops and executes successful product launches for Instruments, Assays, and Services to meet the AOP
  • Manages the Annual Sales Meeting, as well as Customer events, plans the schedule, defines the required costs, HIP authorizations, and participates with the Marketing Organization to ensure a successful program
  • Travel, interaction with Customers, Commercial and BF Teams, etc. Perform other work related duties as assigned
  • Administrative processes, includes participating in LLT, GMT, Training, as well as Annual Reviews, Expenses, etc.

The Individual

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required
  • MBA preferred
  • Experience in the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry with proven success is required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience focusing on LATAM, with in-depth understanding of key markets in LATAM (e.g. Mexico and Brazil)
  • Fluent in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese
  • Proven track record in building collaboration, communication and teamwork across a local and global organization
  • Ability to travel up to 30% regionally and internationally
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
