The Opportunity


As the company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Process Innovation Sr. Manager. 


He/she will collaborate across the Ortho Enterprise organisation to identify and implement Quality Systems Process Improvements to optimize use of Ortho resources while maintaining the highest standards of product quality.  Facilitates working teams using Process Excellence methodologies to define solutions, integrate best practices, and streamline  elements of the quality system

The Responsibilities

Collaborates with all Ortho functions to identify and prioritize relevant process improvement opportunities

- Facilitate/Lead working teams to identify and implement solutions (based on a combination of Lean and Six-Sigma principles) to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Ortho quality system

- Identify, prioritize and manage a portfolio of improvement opportunities


- Participates in/or leads development/maintenance of relevant training modules which support the quality system; Conducts classroom style training and employee mentoring as a function of subject matter expertise 

- Provide support where required in 1) external audit management & response, 2) management of high impact customer excellence issues




The Individual



BA/BS in Life Sciences, Engineering, or Physical Science Required

MA/MS in Life Sciences, Engineering, or Physical Science Preferred



9 to 12 years related experience in Medical Device quality system management, including Process Excellence (certified to BB in Lean

or Six-Sigma). 


Desirable certifications include ASQ –CQA, ASQ-CQE, ASQ-SWQE, ASQ-CQM,  or equivalents

Willing to travel (Up to 25% Domestic & International travel)
