The Opportunity

  • We are looking to appoint a 21 grade role within the Make to Stock Value Stream

The Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain general laboratory equipment (pH meter/mixers/homogenisers/pressure filtration vessels) in strict accordance with cGMP and written procedures
  • Report quality issues to supervisor
  • Ensure maintenance of production equipment is carried out to agreed schedules
  • Maintain operational environments
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with all regulations and laws governing business and quality operations (QSR/GMP, ISO etc.), identifying and recording anomalous observations. Empowered to halt processes following such observations.
  • Participate in improvement initiatives and in associated implementation teams.
  • To ensure HSE requirements within their immediate work environment is adhered to.
  • Use of cold room/freezer.
  • Participate in the set-up of new production procedures and areas and in shop floor work-flow planning.

The Individual

  • 5 GCSE/ equivalent, including Maths & English or relevant science, OR B-TEC certificate OR relevant operational experience
  • Ability to communicate verbally with all members within the operational team, outside the team and with contract staff.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, EBR systems
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Organized, reliable and able to prioritize workload
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment.
  • Ability to react to change.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, OCD products, Quality systems and HSE requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of Oracle Systems.
