The Opportunity

As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a Recruiting and HR Operations Specialist for the LATAM Region to oversee the end to end recruiting process as well as HR Operational responsibilities for Brazil and Chile.

The Responsibilities

Recruiting (60%):

  • Oversee the end to end recruiting process for positions located across Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Panama and Puerto Rico
  • Develop job appropriate behavioral and competency based interview questions; Coach Hiring Managers on interviewing and candidate assessment techniques
  • Identify and share recruitment best practices across business units of focus
  • Maintain current knowledge in business, marketplace, legal and recruitment trends and requirements
  • Initiate and maintain a network of contacts to help identify qualified candidates for hiring needs, and develop sourcing methodologies and strategies to target and identify qualified candidates
  • Manage the applicant tracking system data associated with the recruitment process to ensure all relevant data on applicants, the process and the final hiring decision is properly handled in a timely manner
  • Arraign interview schedules, candidate travel and background checks


HR Operations (40%):


  • Oversee data entry for Brazil and Chile; HR, employee, manager and vendor (payroll and benefits) interaction and support; report generation; process troubleshooting; and HR and payroll project support
  • Receive data transaction requests and record all status, transfer, and termination changes into HRIS, payroll, or alternate systems on a timely basis
  • Review current Total Rewards practices and processes, in partnership with an external consultant, and recommend/determine suite of benefits going forward in each transitioning country
  • Prepare new hire/termination packets for employees
  • Address HR, employee, and manager questions regarding data, process, and policies
  • Interact with benefits outsourcer and local vendors to address day to day issues or questions
  • Monitor key interfaces and/or processes within the HR-benefits-payroll workflow to ensure complete and timely processing
  • Troubleshoot problems within the key processes, report findings, and make data corrections as needed to ensure quality of operation
  • Maintains confidentiality of department records and employee files, adhering to document retention guidelines
  • Create and run HRIS reports on a regular and ad hoc basis


The Individual

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-4 years of full-life cycle recruiting experience. Multi-country recruiting experience in Latin America preferred
  • Knowledge of the IVD, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device sector preferred
  • Bilingual English/Portuguese, Spanish preferred
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (Taleo, ADP Work Force, Brass Ring, ICIMs) and/or Workday HRIS system is desired but not required
