    The Opportunity

    As a member of the Global Service Support team, you will be a resource to Ortho Field & Technical Solution center staff and provide expert technical support on our Laboratory instruments & Automation Equipment pieces to define, resolve or escalate complaints. You will be highly skilled in data analysis and use systems troubleshooting background & experience, as well as manage escalation of technical issues that may require on-site support. This extensive technical support is mainly provided via phone and email with occasional on-site visits within the EMEA region or corporate locations.

    The Responsibilities

    • Assist the Ortho Field Service (Field Engineers, Laboratory Specialists, etc.) and Technical Solution center staff in troubleshooting instrument complaints
    • Perform data analysis in order to investigate issues & identify root causes.
    • Identify major technical issues that may require in depth investigations.
    • Partner with production and R&D departments in order to identify solutions & continuously improve our products.  
    • Inform our staff proactively on the current issues, on the solutions & improvements, and on the development of the new platforms.
    • Identify the needs & update the technical databases.
    • Train the Field Engineers on the instruments.
    • Understand and apply the good practice & compliance requirements, in accordance with the standard operating procedures. 

    The Individual

    Education requirement :

    • Master level  in Robotics & computer science, electronics, and/or mechatronics. 
    • An initial experience in a similar field will be a plus.

    Language :

    • Assistance will be delivered in English, excellent written & oral skills will be required 
    • Any other European language will be a plus.
