    The Opportunity


    As the company continues to grow we are seeking an Account Manager to support our customer in the area of North. Ideally to be based Berlin/Hamburg.

    The Responsibilities

    Accelerate growth of new business opportunity in IH and CL and maintain current
    customers need accordingly Ortho Leadership Attributes.
    Creating and executing area strategies, incl. development and forcing the long-term business plan.

    Develop and implements account strategies / sales processes in accordance with goals and
    objectives of Germany.
    Qualifying and managing prior identified opportunities in IH and CL and build and manage effective
    customer relationships in order to close new business.
    Manage projects of tender offering
    Hold self-accountable for delivering business results in line with business plan for the area,
    achieve account profitability and sales target.
    Manage a range of internal business processes and interfaces incl. to support development of
    marketing plans and aligning sales force to marketing plans.
    Collaborate with Ortho Care in order to efficiently move opportunities forward in the Sales Process
    Onsite assessments and creating solution presentations
    Ensures proper documentation of all sales activities/quotations via Sales Force.com

    70 % Acquiring new customers, Extension of Ortho market shares
    20 % Cooperation with laboratories / Technical Solution / Sales Admin / Tender Support
    10 % Administration, facilitation and delivering business results

    The Individual

    Academic science study or equivalent acquired knowledge e.g. in biology, pharmacy,
    chemistry, medicine, health care, medical technologies, preferably diagnostics

    Track record of sales / product support of min. 5 years in comparable surrounding / business
    management diagnostics

    Strong business acumen and awareness of Regulatory Affairs and Health Care Compliance
    Very good understanding of lean matrix organization and virtual working structures
    Excellent understanding of using SFDC-System as well as MS Office, in particular Excel, PowerPoint

    Fluent in German langugage is required, fluent in English preferred


    Sales driven with entrepreneurial spirit and readiness to build up and develop new business opprotunities
    Demonstrated communication skills, incl. presentation and negotiation
    Convincing personality, especially when dealing with demanding customers

    High degree of initiative and self-motivation and personal resilience
    Ability for independently trouble shooting
    Very good command of English, spoken & written
    Readiness to work under pressure; business travelling, national, ca. 90%
